Lee Broom: KALEIDOSCOPIA
Lee Broom transforms his London showroom into the 'KALEIDOSCOPIA' installation during the 2019 edition of the London Design Festival.
During the 2019 edition of the London Design Festival, Lee Broom transformed his East London showroom into the 'KALEIDOSCOPIA' lighting installation, using mirrors and seventeen of his highly acclaimed Orion lights to create the appearance of a large, ethereal chandelier formed from over 200 lights. Orion Tube and Globe lights are hung both horizontally and vertically to showcase the versatility of the product and its beautiful design, allowing one to create endless options and constellations to suit a multitude of interior spaces.
Always one to exhibit his designs in unique and captivating ways, Broom continues to blur the boundaries between artistic and functional design. Launching during the 2018 edition of Milan's Salone del Mobile, Broom's Orion comprises of two lighting units; one with a polished metal tube, available in brass or gunmetal finish and completed with an illuminated opal glass sphere. The second design displays in contrast, consisting of an opal glass tube, finished with a polished metal sphere. The two units, along with the numerous ways of suspending the item within an interior, allow for unlimited opportunities for customisation.

The KALEIDOSCOPIA installation was exhibited at the Lee Broom London showroom on Rivington Street, Hackney between 17-22 September, as part of the Shoreditch Design Triangle for the London Design Festival.
